Surgery

At Norterra Animal Hospital we perform many surgeries at our facility for your pet. With all surgeries we focus on safety and pain management to ensure your pet is as comfortable and pain free as possible. Anytime your pet is under anesthesia here, they will have one doctor and at least one highly trained technician monitoring your pet at all times. We monitor your pets blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, heart rhythm/ECG, respiratory rate, oxygenation, and carbon dioxide levels throughout every surgery. Pre-operative blood work, IV catheters and IV fluids also increase safety during surgery.

This is not a complete list, so please do not hesitate to call if you know of a surgery your pet may need.
